As part of its corporate social responsibility program (CSR) and in collaboration with Cosmaline fan, Jessica Abou Jaoude, Malia Group’s personal care brand, Cosmaline, launched an initiative to help raise funds for The Lebanese Breast Cancer Association by donating proceeds from the sales of the newly launched Oh My Curls Moisturizing Mask throughout October 2020. “We were really touched when Jessica reached out and told us that she was excited to use the deep treatment but was recently diagnosed with breast cancer so would have to put it on hold until the end of her treatment,” said Ornella Naime, Junior Brand Manager, Cosmaline. “Her courage, optimism, and bravery made us want to team up with her for this initiative,” she added. The Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation aims to provide comprehensive support for women with breast cancer at the American University of Beirut Medical Center (AUBMC). Its goals include supporting breast cancer patients’ treatment, including radiation therapy and surgery, disseminating more knowledge and awareness about breast cancer, promoting systematic and programmed early detection campaigns, and supporting breast cancer research projects and clinical trials.
